Fanzun as a good role model in China

For several years, Fanzun has been one of the Swiss companies which are focused the area of «sustainable construction». Now this commitment pays off: The projects Muottas Muragl and the commercial building of Caotec in Brusio as well as Ovavera, in which Fanzun took over the client representation, have been proposed to be important examples of Swiss know-how in sustainable building. Generis – a company specialised in services at the interface of politics and economics – has come across the projects and now wants to include them in the reference catalog of the Sino-Swiss Low Carbon Cities Program (SSLCC). The program was launched by China and Switzerland in 2016 with the aim of cutting greenhouse gas emissions in Chinese cities by 2030. Meanwhile, six Chinese cities have entered into partnership. With the mentioned reference catalog of exemplary Swiss projects, the importance and also the know-how of sustainable building should be shown and brought closer to the Asian partners. Based on a comprehensive presentation as well as a data sheet of each project, the local representatives of the Chinese cities should be encouraged to promote climate-friendly projects and to use the appropriate building methods.

Not the only eco-friendly projects

Fanzun is proud to be a shining example in the land of the rising sun. However, the three projects mentioned above are not the only ones that persuade with environmentally friendly and sustainable constructions. For example, the building complex «alte Kunsteisbahn» in the centre of Chur is one of the first buildings to be certified in Eco- and Minergie A + P in Grison. Meanwhile the factory work floor and the competence centre « Building + Energy » in Savognin, was considered the largest photovoltaic system with the Minergie-P certification in the region for a long time. The hybrid solar and cooling system of Oblamatik Chur is the first of its kind and gave Fanzun the opportunity for a federally funded pilot project. The ground probe field of the Dolder in Zurich can claim the title «first of its kind» as well. These are just a few more examples that show that Fanzun always thinks about the future first.
