InnHub La Punt: Architecture, region and responsibility in harmony

Last week, the initiators invited guests and media to La Punt Chamues-ch. Our partner Urs Simeon was on site as client representative and emphasised: «It’s precisely in the planning phase that you see it’s not just about floor plans and building regulations. It’s about bringing together many perspectives – from the initiators and investors, the architects and engineers, to authorities and specialist planners, right through to the future users. The fact that we’re standing here today is therefore also a success of collaboration.»

The campus reinterprets Engadine building culture for the present day and makes a statement with its predominantly timber construction: around 2’400 spruce trees from the region, processed on site, form the load-bearing concept – precisely planned, efficiently built.

Fanzun accompanies the client as an equal partner. Our aim: to combine the highest architectural quality with a tangible ecological impact. Groundwater heat pumps, photovoltaics and CO_2-reduced concrete significantly lower the building’s footprint. The result is a building that does not just enable innovation, but radiates it.

The next step is set: by the end of winter, part of the basement level will already be complete, allowing timber construction to begin in the coming summer half-year. The opening of InnHub La Punt is planned for the end of 2028.
