The second construction season at Madrisa has come to an end. Since 27 October, 76% of the alpine solar plant has been in operation.
The season began in May 2026. At that point, 18% of the plant was already operating. The 2025/26 winter electricity production was very pleasing. Over the following six months, the plant grew by 58%. This is significantly faster than the schedule had planned.
Transformer stations 1 to 4 are already in operation and cover around 66% of the plant. On 27 October, 10 additional inverters at technical centre 5 were connected to the grid. This brings the total to 78 inverters with 9.75 MVA AC capacity. The plant comprises 805 strings with 8.404 MW DC capacity and 2,415 tables. All six transformer stations have been assembled and installed.
Snow has arrived with the end of work on the mountain. This will further increase electricity production during the winter months.
Fanzun is supporting this flagship project of Madrisa Solar AG (Municipality of Klosters-Serneus, Repower and EKZ) as general planner.
