National Future Day at Fanzun – A day full of discoveries

On 13 November 2025, Fanzun AG opened its doors to eight pupils for National Future Day. The varied programme gave the young participants exciting insights into architecture, civil engineering and sustainability.

A day full of discoveries

After a company presentation and a tour of the Fanzun premises, the pupils immersed themselves in various fields of expertise. The sustainability station provided hands-on insights into how renewable energy and sustainable construction work. Participants designed power bank covers, gained insights into programming and 3D printing, and built their own solar power bank to take home as a keepsake.

At the civil engineering station, there was an introduction to structural analysis and how buildings respond to earthquakes. The children then took their first steps in digital planning with CAD exercises using 3D animation.

Tour of the Chur Cantonal Court

A special highlight of the day was the tour of the Cantonal Court in Chur. Here, participants experienced first-hand how a historic building is being equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable standards for the future – a project that combines history and innovation.

Sparking enthusiasm for construction careers

National Future Day gives pupils the opportunity to get to know different professional fields and gain their first practical experience. Fanzun uses this day to inspire young people about sustainable technologies and construction careers. The question and feedback session at the end of the day showed that the participants were impressed by the variety and opportunities offered by careers in construction.
