On the flat roof of the transshipment and logistics centre of Kuoni Transport AG, around 5,000 m² are available for the construction of an economical grid-connected solar power plant. Rhiienergie AG secures the rights to build a plant by means of a roof usage agreement and commissions Fanzun with the design, overall project management and construction management.
The grid-connected solar power plant is intended to be built with excellent economic efficiency, offering Rhiienergie AG’s customers competitive solar power prices. This is to be achieved through low construction, operating and maintenance costs combined with consistently high yields.
Economic feasibility calculations, based on identical fixed costs, result in a dense module arrangement with high power density. A low tilt angle and an aerodynamically optimised mounting system ensure structural safety while keeping the ballasting to a minimum.
