As part of the bypass around the town of Flims, a bridge was to be built above the Stenna valley between the Prau Pulté and Flimserstein tunnels at a height of 25m above the Flembach stream. The two tunnel portals and the roughly 70m long bridge were to visually form a single unit.
The 71m long Flem Bridge was designed as a skewed truss bridge with spans of 18.45m, 34.1m and 8.45m. Girder heights vary from 1.4m to 2m. The 12.5m-long transoms have a trapezoidal cross section. The abutments are integrated into the portals of the two tunnels and integrate them into a single unit.
One of the bays of the tunnel section was located on the bridge, which fixed the road width at 11.5m. Due to the steep 45° incline, the foundation could not be built into the slope. The cutter shield weighing 270t had to be pushed on the bridge before sealing and surfacing the road.
