The renovation of the South Wing of Zurich main station has been honoured with the «Good Buildings of the City of Zurich» award. The award recognises architecture and open-space design that contribute to a liveable and diverse city, and promotes public discussion on building culture.
Fanzun (partner for construction management) helped shape this demanding project in an interdisciplinary, precise and future-oriented way. We are proud to have contributed to a liveable urban space in Zurich.

The nearly 150-year-old, listed South Wing of Zurich main station was comprehensively renovated in stages until 2023. Comprehensive management to maintain operations ensured that all interventions were scheduled in advance and suitable measures defined to keep operations running smoothly at all times.
The safe management and control of passenger flows was ensured through clearly scheduled changes to the construction perimeters. In 2024, the project was honoured with the prestigious Monocle Design Award.
