The site subject to a mandatory neighbourhood development plan, located not far from the Muotta Naluns valley station, lies within the hotel zone. In addition to its unobstructed south-facing location with views into the Val Plavna, its direct connection to the ski slope makes it ideally suited for sports-oriented tourist use.
The buildings are grouped around a «village square». The base level houses the underground car park and, on the south side, the spa area with views and daylight. The ability to build the development in stages allows investments to be made over a longer period of time. The character of the buildings is given a regional identity through motifs derived from traditional architecture.
Alongside the hotel with ski-in access, infrastructure for managed apartments and a spa area had to be provided. Despite the site’s high utilisation, the aim was to achieve a well-considered urban design with a harmonious integration into the topography.
