The Oberengadin Hospital needs to adapt its range of services due to various patient needs. For this purpose, the operating concept was revised by the hospital management and SBS AG smart building solutions. Fanzun was responsible for the cost planning during the feasibility phase.
Due to operational efficiency requirements, the cost target is an important parameter for the client. Through an economical and sustainable design, combined with operationally feasible stages, the cost target could be achieved.
A hospital involves a demanding ongoing operation with high risk. Various construction stages had to be taken into account, and it had to be ensured that all installations were carried out without interrupting operations. The existing building fabric had to be upgraded to comply with the new building regulations.
