In conjunction with the construction of ÖKK’s new headquarters, a site plan was developed which also served as the statutory basis for the current project. The plan provided for the concentration of services in the surroundings of the Bahnhofstrasse and developing a residential zone along the Landquart river.
The narrow building between the river and ÖKK, was designed for a string of apartments. The park between the apartments and administrative building leads to the entrance and provides access for emergency services. The underground car park was built below the park and can be reached through the ÖKK driveway entrance.
Because of the high availability of apartments in Igis municipality, a high degree of precision was necessary in cost estimates so that they could serve as a basis for project realisation. The selling price was set thereafter and the sale launched.
